Join me this Sunday evening on the Sunday Night Health Show: I'm a guest!

This Sunday I am a guest on the Sunday Night Health Show with fellow nurse colleague Maureen McGrath, RN. I will talk about the importance of having an Approachable Adult in every kid’s life. An Approachable Adult can be a parent, a grandparent, a caregiver, a daycare provider, an educator, a youth worker, a nurse. My idea is that the more Approachable Adults kids have in their world the more people kids can talk to about their amazing bodies. Kids have a lot of questions about bodies and when messages around their bodies and the bodies of the world are consistent and positive, the more likely kids will grow up to be Approachable Adults themselves and find the positive in others. Come join me this Spring for my Approachable Adult Zoom Workshops. Join me for one session, for two or all three.

My next Session is this Wednesday April 28 from 10am-1pm PST. The focus is on the concept of sexuality as it relates to the preschooler and early elementary years.

In May I focus on the topic of Puberty. This workshop is great for adults who care for or work with children between the ages of 8-12. Two workshops are available to allow for flexibility. Folks can sign up for either Sunday May 16 or Wednesday May 26. Both sessions run from 10am to 1pm PST.

In June I focus on the topics youth and young adults want and need to know. This workshop is great for adults who care for or work with youth and young adults 12 and up. Two workshops are available to allow for flexibility. Folks can sign up for either Sunday June 6 or Wednesday June 9. Both sessions run from 10am to 1pm PST.

All my workshops are discussion based, however participation is not mandatory. Space is limited to 15 participants to allow for safe and meaningful discussion. Cost is based on a sliding scale fee of $10-$30 each workshop, however if financial difficulty is a challenge simply email me at mary@sacredlearningspace.ca and I will waive the fees.
